Senior Pastors

Pastor Mike was born and raised in Goldsboro, NC.  At the age of 23 he enlisted in the United States Army and served at Ft. Drum in New York until his obligations were completed.  During this time Pastor Mike met and married his wife Danette.  They are blessed with two children, a daughter Chloe, and a son Bailey.   While living in New York Pastor Mike became an ordained minister and had the privilege to serve in the mission fields of Haiti and Puerto Rico. 

In April 2016, the Lord called Pastor Mike and his family back to Goldsboro, NC to pastor Free Gospel Church. He is known to change things up a little and to have a contagious energy and passion for Jesus.  Pastor Mike speaks every week with a desire to bring people to Christ so God can transform their lives forever.
